Coffee Shop Chit-Chat
Once again I sit at the coffee shop… aka my office. I have no internet at home so this place sees my face many times a week. Speaking of home… I’m in search of a new one. My roommates and I have till the end of September to move, which is kinda a bummer given the place I’m in now is freak’n rad! But change is good and I’m looking forward to what awesome place I’ll end up next. I’ve also got more travel plans on the books… Oregon. I’ll be driving up in October for 3 weeks. I did the same trip last year but for 6 weeks. My work wasn’t very pleased about my 6 week adventure so I shortened the length this time around. It’s such a beautiful time of the year and I’m looking forward to seeing my friends and camping in the redwoods. My last year from last October till now has been everything but ordinary. I traveled to Oregon and San Francisco for 6 weeks. Hosted a couch surfer whom I ended up falling in love with and he ended up staying 4 months longer than he planned. Numerous hikes. A two week road trip up the coast of Cali. Mini road trip to all the beaches between San Diego and LA. Volunteered and rocked the f-out at a 3 day music fest. Traveled in Europe for 3 weeks. Met one of my all time favorite dj’s on that trip. And so many little day trips here and there, meeting new people, trying new things… what’s the point of me sharing this? Not sure to be honest. I think I’m just in awe of how amazing my life is… I believe we forget sometimes all the things we have to be grateful for. I feel like I could write a book about all that has happened in the last year. And I’m sure there are tons of people out there that live even crazier lives. So inspiring knowing that anything is possible.
What if, before we died, it was required we write a book about our life. A book of our adventures, lessons, loves and insights. Would you live differently? Would you stop procrastinating about the things you want to do? Would set out to experience everything you want to experience and push yourself to grow as a person? Think on that… I suggest you live life that way anyway. You never know, you could end up writing a book someday about your life, publish it and make millions. Sweet.
Anyhoo… my mind is all over the place with travel plans, moving plans and possibly studing abroad??? More on that later. But I felt like sharing. Did you guys have any rad adventures this last year? Hope so… here are some random photos from the last week. I’m loving this photo app on my phone (I’m in the market for a new camera, but until then I’ve got my handy smart phone).
Much love folks. Get out there and live life!!!
