Day 2 of the Lean Out Program
Well, well, well… who would of thought two days into this program my mind would be fighting it. It’s not even about cravings, actually, I haven’t craved sugar or caffeine. What I mean about my mind fighting it is that I’m trying to convince myself that I don’t need to do this. I’m fine the way I am (which I am) and that I don’t need to “cleanse” my system. I’ve had to remind my mind a few times today that it is important to cleanse the body of toxic substances such as sugar, caffeine, and bad fats. I also had to remind myself that it is only 5 days! I mean come on Elyssa… you tell your clients everyday to clean up their diet… get your shit together! I’m not being too hard on myself but the conversation does go a little something like that.
So here I am approaching the end of the day. I had a yummy lunch made with portabello mushrooms, mixed veggies, and lentils… it tasted like heaven. I did notice that I was tired today but I’m not sure if it has something to do with the program or that I’m still recovering from being sick. I do know that I’m not really feeling that hungry too soon, if that makes sense. I’m hungry about every 3-4 hours… so it’s working out nicely.
I did forget to mention yesterday that I’m also taking 1-2 tablespoons of coconut oil a day. I also had a couple folks ask why no egg yolks. The whites of the eggs help lean you out faster. Believe me, I love my yolk, so I’m cutting them out just for the time-being. And I forgot to get somebody to do my body fat measurements so hopefully I can get that done today…
No yoga for me today but I may be able to squeeze a little workout in here in a bit. I’ll let you know how that goes tomorrow. So I guess I can say so far so good. I know as it goes on the easier it will get. Can’t wait to see how I’m feeling come Friday.
Question for the day: What more physical activity (that you love) could you be incorporating more into your daily routine?
Lots of love to you!!!!
