How To Incorporate a Rope into your Workout (video)
If you belong to a gym, and given it stays up-to-date with all the new stuff, you may have seen giant ropes lying around. Yes maybe at one point they were used for just boats but now they help you get in shape believe it or not.
Below is a video from the Sporting Club of me doing a demonstration on how to use them and some different variations of rope use. I’m not actually talking but I am working hard! Check it out, it’s easier to understand when you have a visual.
What are ropes good for?
– Increases strength and endurance
– Increase grip strength
– Increases cardio levels (much more fun than that treadmill)
– Recruits and strengthens shoulders, back, abdominals, arms, hips and legs… so basically almost everything!
– It’s something different and FUN!
Don’t knock it till you try it. If you have them available to you ask a trainer on how to use them and then have fun!
