Lean-Out Program Thoughts
Hi. After 5 days of eating just egg whites, lentils, veggies and protein shakes I thought eating granola on Saturday morning would have been like heaven. Nope. I was wrong… although delicious, not heaven. Honestly, eating carbs this weekend wasn’t that exciting. I found myself wanting to keep it basic… rice, homemade granola, and… well… that’s it really. On Saturday morning I kept telling Jonathan that we should go get pancakes, but when it came down to it I didn’t want them.
My body understands now that I must eat to live… not live to eat.
I weight myself again tomorrow, so I’ll let you all know how it goes. I’m really keeping my fingers crossed for some positive change. That way all of you that have shared with me that are trying the program will have something to be excited about… more so than just cleaning up your diet.
I hope all of you that are Mothers out there had a beautiful Mother’s Day! I spent it with my Mom at the Renaissance Faire. I didn’t drink and I ate pretty well, given what was available. It was a beautiful day. Tons of people. If you have never been to a Renaissance Faire before you should go and I never thought I’d say this but you should go dressed up as well… yeah, makes it so much more fun.
Anyhow… I didn’t end up doing the lean-out program for two more days. I may still do a couple days at the end of the week but I’m not sure I could down another protein shake right now. Plus my workouts are getting harder so I need just a little more calorie intake. Those of you that are trying the program out will you please please please share with me how it goes. Feed back will be great and then I can pass it on over to Heather over at Conscious Nutrition.
Back to work for me… question for you: What is one food/beverage you would like to cut out of your diet? Whats stopping you from doing it right now?
