Simple Pleasure #36: My IPod

My Ipod | The Wellness Doer

It seems like it was just yesterday that the ipod came into existence. Like the CD player, video games, and cell phone, I was not the first to get an ipod. Ohhh but when it did it changed my world. It changed all of our worlds. I can remember walking around New York City with my CD Walkman… thinking I was one cool cat. Silly me… little did I know they were making the ultimate music player that was forever going to change the way we listen to music.

I am not one of those people who have my ipod attached to one ear at any given time. I listen to it in the car and when I workout… but what I really love about it is that it holds my entire music library on it… well… maybe except those couple Brittany Spears songs that nobody wants to admit to liking. There is just something about knowing that I can pull up just about anything on my ipod whenever I want that makes me really happy. So you can imagine that it makes shuffle really interesting.

Speaking of shuffle, let’s actually see what comes up as the first 10 songs it shuffles…

1. Hacksaw by Ooah
2. Everything Zen by Bush
3. Skin Divers by Duran Duran
4. Thieves in the Night by Blackstar
5. Wrong About You by Brett Dennen
6. Crystallize by Lindsey Stirling
7. Starve the Ego, Feed the Soul by The Glitch Mob
8. Re: Stacks by Bon Iver
9.  Shout it Out (remix) by Lynx & Janover
10. Ot Du Shi by The Human Experience

Definitely an interesting array of tunes, but very good songs. How can one ever get bored when you have 5,567 songs are your ipod? The funniest part of it all… is that I really only listen to one or two of my playlists. Mostly because they have all of my favorite songs on them. But nonetheless… it’s still one of my simple pleasures. 🙂

What is your favorite song or artist?
