What Are You GRATEFUL For?
Sooo… I’m sitting here at my desk and the time is 5:02 pm and I pretty much did nothing today. A couple clients but thats about it. Feeling a little unaccomplished I decided to go through my day and see all the things I have to be grateful for.
What I’m grateful for today: The simple fact that so many of take for granted is the ability to open my eyes when I awake. I’m thankful for having a warm bed to sleep in and a roof over my head. I’m thankful for the bathroom that is just steps away. I’m thankful for the fresh veggies that sit in my fridge. I’m grateful for the farmers, truck drivers, and store clerks that made it possible for me to have those veggies. I’m thankful for the hens that supplied my eggs this morning. I’m not sure where matcha green tea comes from but I’m thankful for that too.
I’m so grateful for the sun, the sky, the wind, the trees, the birds, and all of mother earths gifts. I’m grateful for my two legs that guided me on my walk today the my two dogs… which whom I am so so so grateful for. I am grateful for the ocean and the opportunity I have to see it every day.
I am grateful for the raw food place across the street from my house (peacepies.com). I am grateful for my friends, my friends families, my clients and their families. I am grateful for my family. I’m grateful for people and all the uniqueness they have to offer. I am grateful for all that are close to me in my life that shower me with their love.
I am thankful for toilet paper – think about it… so are you. I am thankful for my car and the mechanics that fixed it. I am thankful for my job. I am grateful for the man watering his cherry blossom tree. I am thankful for the rain and the soil. I am grateful for my health – without it I’d have nothing. I’m grateful for the clothes that I own and for the clothes that I will give away in hopes to bring warmth to another.
I am especially grateful to be able to share this with you. We all have our bad days. We all have days where we feel like nothing is going our way. Stop, sit down and count all the amazing things you have to be grateful for… it’s endless. Most importantly… I’m grateful for you!
